Dear friends,
hopefully you're all doing well!
I have reason to celebrate: It has taken me some years, but I eventually
defended my PhD thesis last winter and just now the bureaucratic followup
is completed â I hold the official doctorate degree in my hands. Since
this feels at least as good as birthday and christmas together, I'd like
to invite you to join me for a party (if you are interested and happen
to be near Munich, Germany) :-D
You can find an electronic survey at
https://dudle.inf.tu-dresden.de/lw4cqmfv/
to determine a convenient common date for a little evening reception
sometime in August/September, and I'll organize a venue somewhere central
in Munich. If you and/or someone you know would like to join, let me
know the number of persons and a contact address by e-mail or through
the survey not later than 22nd of July. I'll send every interested party
another message once a date and venue have been found.
Kind regards,
Thomas
